The extensive list includes a store in Bedlington, Northumberland. Each store, including our very own, promises to bring over 30 new jobs to its area.

Aldi already has more than 900 hundred stores nationwide. But this is just the beginning of a two year plan to open over 100 stores, with plans to invest 1.3 billion into local stores across the UK.

Ciaran Aldridge, national property director at Aldi UK, released a statement regarding the expansion:

"The new stores bring us one step closer to our goal of making our award-winning products at unbeatable prices easily accessible to even more shoppers across the country”
