Outdoor cinema extravaganza The Luna Cinema is set to return to Alnwick Castle this summer, less than an hour's drive away for the people of Newcastle.
It's the 15th consecutive year that the popular cinema experience is running its programme that invites guests to watch a film under the stars.
The Luna Cinema will tour around the UK and set up shop at Alnwick Castle on Friday, September 2 and Saturday, September 3.
On the Friday, James Bond blockbuster No Time To Die will hit the big screen after last year's phenomenal cinema success.
On the Saturday, it's the turn of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire - an appropriate choice given the castle's use for the filming of the series.
VIP tickets for the Sunday have already sold out, but you can score your entries here.
As usual, the event will also include an array of food partners and a full bar serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks
Attendees can also bring a hamper of their own, although alcohol is not permitted.
George Wood, founder of The Luna Cinema, said: “We’re hugely excited to announce our 2022 season, and our 15th consecutive year of bringing people together through the magical experience of cinema under the stars.
"We’ve spent the winter devising what we believe to be our greatest cinema season yet, with a line-up of films and venues that will make for the perfect summer’s evening out – and just at a time when cinema really feels like it’s making a triumphant return in the post-pandemic world. With the inclusion of films like No Time To Die alongside fan favourite Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, the programmes at Alnwick Castle will offer something for everyone in Northumberland.
"So, round up your friends and dig out that picnic blanket as this summer promises to be special!”
