She wrote: “My babas little strawberry birth mark. I will feel a little sad as it starts to disappear as she gets older, it’s such a part of her.

“So many of you guys reached out when you saw it saying your babies had one too!

“Alba actually has two but the one on her leg is already starting to disappear.”

According to the NHS, most birthmarks are harmless and disappear without treatment. There are a variety of different types with raised red lumps also referred to as ‘strawberry marks or haemangiomas’.

The mark which usually appears soon after birth is most common in girls and appears due to blood vessels forming a raised red lump on the skin. They may get bigger over the first few months, but then shrink and disappear by age seven.

Charlotte, who welcomed baby Alba Jean Ankers via a caesarean section, has been widely praised for her candid posts about life as a new mum.

She recently explained to fans her decision to start doing light exercise after feeling down about her post-pregnancy body.

Charlotte said: “Listen, I’m not breaking my back exercising. I’m literally doing like 15 to 20 minutes a day and the rest of my activity is running around after this little gorgeous cherub.

“What I will say though is the bits of exercise I am doing is giving me a huge boost, like not just mentally but energy wise like afterwards I feel so great.”

“I am struggling. I’m not looking like I used to but I will get back there but not putting any pressure on myself,” she added.
