Charlotte shared a little insight into her exercise routine and how she is getting a “boost” from the experience in a recent series of Instagram stories.
In a thread of videos, featuring a sleeping baby Alba, Charlotte said: “My inbox has exploded and I mean exploded with just so many messages, kind, lovely words of support and encouragement and just like general loveliness. You guys are incredible.
“Listen, I’m not breaking my back exercising. I’m literally doing like 15 to 20 minutes a day and the rest of my activity is running around after this little gorgeous cherub.
“What I will say though is the bits of exercise I am doing is giving me a huge boost, like not just mentally but energy wise like afterwards I feel so great.”
The reality star was honest with her viewers as she admitted she was “struggling” with her postpartum body.
Charlotte continued: “I am struggling. I’m not looking like I used to but I will get back there but not putting any pressure on myself.”
Earlier this week, Charlotte posted her work-out video to her Instagram stories and admitted she was hesitant to post the clips to social media.
The reality star said: “I didn’t wanna upload these. But then I thought no don’t be ashamed. Your trying your hardest, I can look back at this as progress!!!!”
Charlotte also admitted: “I’m actually embarrassed about how unfit and out of shape I am...
“I feel like I should of tried to keep this up through my pregnancy but my pregnancy was absolutely HORRID.”
Despite her openness on social media, the former Geordie Shore star found herself the target of trolls who criticised Charlotte for her posts.
One person wrote: “She literally had the baby a few weeks ago. She needs to calm down and have a day off.”
Another person commented on the post, saying: “The only person putting the pressure on is her, or her manager as they see pound signs in another workout video. What happened to just taking your time and enjoying your baby?”
