Charlotte Crosby, from Sunderland, took to her podcast ‘Always On’ to talk about postnatal sex and plans for a second baby with her listeners.

The former Geordie Shore star, 32, was joined by not only her partner, Jake Ankers but also their cuddly, little baby girl, Alba who you could hear gurgling in the background. The couple welcomed their first child in October 2022 and Charlotte has been very open with her nine million followers about not only her pregnancy and birthing experiences but also how life has changed since welcoming a little one into their lives.

In the latest episode, despite Charlotte saying: “We’ve got the most incredible easy baby, she’s just an absolute dream” she also went on to discuss how it had affected the couple’s sex life.

Charlotte shared:“Obviously, when you have all the hormones and you are still getting over the birth in the postpartum stage, you don’t feel as horny as you used to”. To which Jake replied:“I can back that up” whilst laughing.

Charlotte replied defensively: “We are still having sex Jake, it’s just not as often as you would like it” whilst covering Alba’s ears. She went on to reach out to her listeners saying: “every girl who’s had a baby knows it takes a while to get back into the swing of things”.

Alex went on to say that he’s: “actually quite thankful that it [sex] happens at all” and confessed that:“as I’m a new dad, I’m learning as well”. He also added that he was worried that Charlotte may not fancy him anymore as he has:“put a bit of weight on”. The Geordie Shore star assured Jake that this was not the case by saying:“I still think you are the sexiest person on this earth”.

Having set some New Year relationship rules including a must-have date night and open communication, Charlotte proudly stated: “We’ve managed to keep the relationship really good” and the happy couple certainly seem more than content with their new family life.

As well as discussing their postnatal sex life, they also discussed broadening their family and the possibility of having another baby. Being a mother is a momentous achievement for the Sunderland star as she revealed previously that she thought she would be unable to have children. Doctors discovered internal bleeding following a split fallopian tube and this led Charlotte to having her right tube and ovary being removed.

When Charlotte carefully asks Jake: “Do you want another baby?” he replied immediately: “this is obviously something we are a little bit split on because I want another baby but the timing is the thing”.

Whereas he would rather wait until Alba is three, Charlotte said:“No No, that is too long” as she enjoys being a young parent.

The big question on both their lips is whether it turns out to be a boy or girl. Charlotte is very keen for Alba to have a little sister whilst Jake is looking forward to adding another boy to the family.
