Geordie boy Sam Fender is coming to the end of his Seventeen Going Under Tour for 2022 but there is still one more sold-out show to play at Newcastle’s Utilita Arena.
The opening show of the UK tour took place in Nottingham on Sunday March 20 and tonight’s show is the last until Manchester later this year.

Fender’s tour has taken him to the Dublin 3Arena, the Birmingham Utilita Arena and two nights at London’s SSE Arena Wembley before last night’s unforgettable set in Newcastle.

The night will begin with a performance from Goat Girl, a four-piece post-punk band from South London.
Goat Girl will also be supporting Sam Fender at his landmark Finsbury Park show this summer.

So far in the tour, doors for the show have opened at 7 pm, although some arenas are opening doors at 6:30 pm. Goat Girl have been coming to stage at 7:45 pm and playing until 8:25 pm. Sam Fender has been taking to stage at 9 pm and his set has lasted around an hour and a half.

Where to park for Newcastle’s Utilita Arena?
There are 600 official car parking places to the rear of the arena which can be reached either by Arena Way or Railway Terrace to the east.
If this car park is full, the arena recommends gig goes use the NCP car park next to the Arena, with its entrance on Redheugh Bridge Road.

Other car parks around the arena include Arena Square Car Park on Ord Street and the Times Square Car Park which can be accessed from Railway Street.
