The Vegan Market Co will take over Newcastle's Grainger Street this weekend as it arrives in the city for the first time ever.

On Saturday, April 23, the Newcastle Vegan Market will pop up in the heart of Newcastle and showcase a huge variety of vegan street food, artisan bakes, craft cheeses.

There will also be handmade cosmetics, ethical clothing & jewellery, arts & crafts and charity stalls.

Organisers handpick sellers for their ethical and sustainable businesses, with a number of local companies championed.

Lewis Beresford, VMCO’s Founder said: “We are so excited to be in Newcastle for the first time.

"We work hard to find the country’s leading vegan producers, from street food vendors and bakers to ethical clothing and cosmetic producers.

The market will open for trade at 10 am and close at 5 pm on Saturday.

The Vegan Market Co has been running similar events since 2016 and now operates in over 40 locations across the UK.
