Reacting to the result on X after the game, Ghodoussi said: "Thank you for your incredible support tonight. St James’ rocked."
Meanwhile, fellow co-owner Jamie Reuben added: "Incredible performance and character shown by our @NUFC - I love this team and club. UP THE MAGS".
Ghodoussi appeared to criticise the Tyneside atmosphere after last weekend's 4-1 victory over Chelsea as he urged fans "to be louder" and be the "12th man".

He said: "Often, our intentions and words don't align perfectly. I believe most of you know how deeply I'm committed to this club; my heart beats in black and white, and my love for the club and all of you is unwavering.
"Let's keep our fingers crossed for tonight, we stand united. Here's to us and our journey together. Howay the Lads #NUFC"
Wor Flags delivered another excellent pre-match display in tribute to head coach Eddie Howe. The banner, which read "let's give it to them" was in reference to Howe's pre-match teamtalk ahead of the win over Man Utd in April.
The clip went viral after it was included in Amazon Prime 'We are Newcastle United' documentary.
