Reports in Italy have suggested Newcastle United are ready to launch ‘an official offer’ for Leeds United winger Jack Harrison.
The 25-year-old star impressed last season as he helped Jesse Marsch’s side escape relegation on a dramatic final day of the Premier League season.

Harrison netted his eighth and final goal of the campaign to give the Whites a 2-1 win at Brentford and ensure that preserved their top flight status at the expense of Burnley.
After overseeing the sales of Kalvin Phillips to Manchester City and Raphinha to Barcelona, Leeds manager Marsch admitted Harrison has interest - but stressed he sees the winger as ‘a big part’ of his plans.
Speaking during the Whites pre-season tour of Australia, he said: “There has always been interest in Jack, like many of our players, but I know that Jack is also very happy here and that he’s done a really good job that is a big part of what we’re doing.

“Of course, there's always possibilities that that big transfer offers come in and then you always have to as clubs decide how it fits and what are the best options moving forward.
“But for me, Jack Harrison is a big part of our plans moving forward and we're counting on him this season for sure.”
That has not prevented Newcastle from pressing forward with a ‘bid’ for the Leeds star according to Italian outlet TuttoMercato.

They have stated the Magpies have prepared an offer of around £24million for the winger - but Whites will demand a fee nearer to the £36million mark.
Harrison offered very little on his future when he spoke to the media after his side’s pre-season friendly against Aston Villa.
Answering a question on his future, he said: “We’ll see, we’ll see what happens, but no, it’s good so far.”
