Bonkers Bottomless Parties: The Howlers madness taking Newcastle by storm
and live on Freeview channel 276
As drag queens call out bingo numbers, bar staff run prosecco-carrying relays and fully grown adults dive into ball bits, you might well think the madness of Howlers Newcastle is another world.
The bar and nightclub now stands when the disgraced Florita's, Madame Koo and House of Smith, closed after a drug scandal, once stood and the new business breathes new life into the Newcastle party scene.

On Friday night, NewcastleWorld went down to experience the club for themselves.
Bonkers by name, bonkers by nature, the rip-roaring two-hour event was packed with action for a crowd made up with an eclectic mix of groups.
The night centres on a game of bingo, hosted by Hostess with the Mostess queen Miss Betty Thunderthighs, who showcases a poise far past her 18 years.

Included in the price, advertised from £24.99 per person on the Howlers website, is also a large slice of pizza which comes around in the first half.
Then, all of a sudden, brakes are put on proceedings to allow attendees to put their glasses down and dive into the nightclub's ball pit.
Greeted with trepidation by some, the large ball pit stretches around the back of Howlers and is filled waist-deep.

After that, it's back to the party with bingo prizes being divvied out and people being coaxed up onto the stage for a series of lip sync performances.
By 10 o'clock, it's all over and drinks are being finished before the crowd pours back out onto Collingwood Street.
In an already crowded nightlife scene in Newcastle, Bonkers at Howlers has found its own lane with two hours of unforgettable madness.
