Easter is only a few days away , which means kids across Newcastle will be anxiously awaiting the arrival of the Easter Bunny and egg hunts - but where in Newcastle will they be?

    When is the Easter bank holiday?

    Easter Sunday falls on 17 April this year. There are two bank holidays surrounding Easter, meaning people will be able to enjoy a four day weekend.

    Good Friday will fall on 15 April, and Easter Monday will also be a bank holiday, falling on 18 April.

    Gibside will be hosting lots of fun Easter activities until Tuesday 19 April.

    Its Easter egg hunt trail is open from 10am until 4pm, which is when the last entry is granted. The trail will take approximately between 90 and 120 minutes.

    There will be a trail map, pencil and a chocolate egg for those who complete the trail.

    Maze Easter Egg Hunt Tynemouth Park 2022

    Price: £12.50 per child, £2.50 per adult

    Tynemouth Park will be running Easter egg hunts throughout the whole of half term, until 24 April.

    There are set to be a tonne of special guests, including the Easter Bunny themself.

    The hunt will run in 30 minute intervals from 9 April to 24 April from 9:30am - 5pm.

    Take your egg hunts to new heights with Clip n Climb. There are numerous eggs to be found on each of the different climbing walls.

    Kids Club - Easter Special at Central Park

    The Easter Family Fun Day hosted by Excel Dance and Martial Arts (held at their academy in Sothall) will take place on the weekend following Easter Sunday and offers plenty to do. There will be an Easter egg hunt for this kids, plenty of great street food to try and they'll even be holding taster sessions for any budding grapplers.
