Tynedale Beer Festival

Celebrate Father’s Day by hitting one of the North East’s biggest beer and cider festivals with your father figure.

Over three days in June there will be the best beers and ciders that the region and the UK have to offer, along with great wine, a gin and rum bar, delicious street food and live music.

This promises to be a full day of good food, good music and sunshine at the Old Coal Yard in Newcastle.

Orchestral Society

Durham University Orchestral Society will be returning to Sage Gateshead for a concert featuring Zemlinsky’s Sinfonietta, before journeying to the studios of Hollywood in Korngold’s Violin Concerto in D major (soloist Jamie Frost) and concluding with Shostakovich’s exhilarating Symphony No.10.

Doors are scheduled to open at 3:30pm.

This fantastic festival by the sea will be returning to our lovely coast just in time for Father’s Day.
