New Metrocentre attraction offers immersive Peppa Pig experience for families
A new immersive experience has officially opened its doors at Gateshead’s Metrocentre, bringing the beloved world of Peppa PIg to Tyneside.
Blending live puppetry and theatrical performance with digital storytelling and sensory play, the event named ‘Peppa Pig: Surprise Party’ invites families to embark on an adventure where they can explore Peppatown and meet Peppa’s friends.
Families are free to explore the 19,000 sq. ft space at their own pace, discovering recognisable locations such as Peppa’s House and The Aquarium.
Along the way, little ones are tasked with taking part in party preparations with the likes Granny Pig, Miss Rabbit and Madame Gazelle.
The in-world Café will serve Instagram-ready treats in partnership with The Knot Churros while visitors can visit Peppa Pig Market at the end of the experience - an interactive gift shop inspired by Peppa and her family’s trips to the Supermarket where children can grab a trolley, explore the aisles and head to the checkout with a souvenir of their day.
Tickets are available from £9.50 per adult and £15.00 per child.
