At the end of 2020, Sarah Millican announced she would be hitting the road with her show Bobby Dazzler.

The tour began back in 1 May 2021 and Millican is set to play shows throughout the country up until 7 October 2022.

This will be Sarah Millican’s sixth international tour, in which she will explain what happens when your mouth seals shut, share details of a surprisingly funny smear test and promises to cover much more.

Millican also announced that some of the shows throughout the tour will be BSL sign language interpreted.

Interpreters will be at the shows in London, Bath, Manchester and Edinburgh. At each of these shows there will be a section of seats allocated in the best place to see the interpreter. You can find out more information about this on Sarah Millican’s website.

Fans will be pleased to know that Sarah Millican will be playing multiple shows on her home turf.

Sarah Millican is scheduled to play at The Tyne Theatre & Opera House on the following dates:

  • Thursday 12 May
  • Friday 13 May 
  • Saturday 14 May
  • Sunday 15 May 

Fans who may be disappointed and unable to attend these dates can catch her later in the year when she returns to the venue for three more shows.

She is currently scheduled to play the venue on the following dates:

Wednesday 28 September

Thursday 29 September

  • Friday 30 September 
  • Saturday 1 October 
  • Sunday 2 October 
  • Thursday 24 November

Tickets for the shows on the 12 and 13 May are sold out. However, there is limited availability for her remaining shows for 2022.

Tickets can be found via the Sarah Millican website or directly bought from Tyne Theatre and Opera House box office.

Prices currently start from £30 per ticket, not including booking and administration fees.

She is best known for her hilarious takes on relationships, body image, television and much more. As well as her distinctive voice.

She took to comedy in 2004 after her husband unexpectedly left her and she started taking writing workshops.

She performed her first ever stand-up gig at the Newcastle pub The Dog & Parrot. From there she has gone from strength to strength, building a stellar career.

Millican made her debut at the Edinburgh Festival with her show Sarah Millican’s Not Nice, which was inspired by her divorce, and won the if.comedy award for Best Newcomer in 2008.

She continued to garner acclaim when she returned in 2009 with her battle of the sexes themed Typical Woman and again in 2010 with her fast-talking Chatterbox.

Throughout her career so far, Millican has released five Stand-up DVDs from her international tours, and even released a book How to be Champion in 2017.
