Scouting For Girls scheduled to perform at Times Square Centre For Life in Newcastle on Thursday 18 July 2022.

The event is scheduled to start at 7pm and finish at 11pm.

Who are Scouting For Girls?

Scouting For Girls are an English pop rock band. The band first formed in London in 2005.

The band was formed by childhood friends Roy Stride on piano and lead guitar/vocals, Greg Churchouse on bass guitar and Peter Ellard on Drums.

James Rowlands took over on drums in 2016 for their tour however Pete Ellard rejoined the band a short while later.

In 2007, the band signed to Epic Records and released their debut self-titled album in the September of that year.

Their debut album reached number one in the UK Albums Chart in 2008, and as of 2022 it has sold over one million copies in the UK.

The band’s second album Everybody Wants to Be on TV was released in April 2010 and peaked at number two on the UK Albums Charts.

Throughout their career Scouting For Girls have achieved eight top 40 singles, sold over 2,000,000 records and received over 500m streams. The band have also been nominated for four Brit Awards and one Ivor Novello Award.

The band has released six albums in their career including Scouting for Girls (2007), Everybody Wants to Be on TV (2010), The Light Between Us (2012), Still Thinking About You (2015), The Trouble with Boys (2019), and most recently, Easy Cover (2021).
