This big weekend has finally arrived as LooseFest takes place in Newcastle.

The two-day festival will see some of music's biggest names take to the Town Moor in what is set to be an action-packed weekend.

The Black Eyed Peas headline on Saturday and AJ Tracey tops the bill on Sunday, with stars including Joel Corry, Mabel, Tinchy Stryder, Bid Narstie and Example also performing over the weekend.

Is there an age limit?

Yes, LooseFest is operating a strict age limit.

The event is only for those over the age of 18.

Attendees will have to present a valid form of ID upon entry to gain admission with a Challenge 25 policy in place.

Can I sell my ticket or give it to a friend?

Yes, tickets for LooseFest can be passed on.

What time do gates open and how many times can I enter?

Gates for the festival open at midday each day.

Last entry into the event is at 5 pm.

There are strictly no same-day re-admissions - once you leave on Saturday, you won't get back in that day, and the same goes for Sunday.

Can I pay by cash?

It depends on what you are buying.

Some food and funfair vendors will be accepting cash over the weekend, if you have some coins laying around that need spending.

However, all bars will operate on a cashless system and only accept card payments.

What can I take into LooseFest?

Attendees cannot take food and drink into the festival.

An A4-sized bag is permitted and organisers have confirmed that there will be water stations dotted around the venue.

Portable chargers are permitted.
