Love Island viewers were left baffled as Geordie contestant Jazmine was booted from the show last night.

Jazmine Nichol, who works as a nightclub manager in Newcastle, entered the villa on Sunday night as part of six new girls ushered through the doors for the Casa Amor segment.

It was a slow start for the 21-year-old, struggling for screen time, but viewers were sure that her moment in the spotlight was still to come.

However, as Jazmine was kicked off the show on Thursday night for not finding a couple, viewers took to social media to question why she was kept off the air with some demanding justice for the Geordie.

As Laura Whitmore hosted the dramatic recoupling last night, she asked the new girls who they had a connection with and their thoughts before going home.

The question didn't get put to Jazmine, or if it did, the clip was not chosen to air.

One viewer wrote: "So we’re not gonna talk about how Jazmine if that’s even her name got zero screen time, Laura didn’t even acknowledge her as in I even forgot she was there! Poor baby."

Another Love Island fan added: "@LoveIsland why did we not see this girl at all? Surely she had some conversations in the Villa?"

Others said "Jazmine’s highlights are just her walking into the Villa and leaving" and "Why did Jazmine get absolutely zero screen time, they didn’t even ask her if she was shocked that she didn’t get picked".

One football fan wittily added: "Jazmine moving like Mount at Wembley."

It's a disappointing ending to Jazmine's time in the villa, with reports suggesting she had been waiting years for the opportunity.

The Newcastle star had previously competed in pageants alongside Molly-Mae Hague.

On entering the villa, she seemed hell-bent on getting the boy she wanted.

Now somewhat ironic, Jazmine initially said: "I could flirt with a wall if it would talk back. I’ve never not got a boy I wanted."
