Newcastle Restaurant Week is back this summer after another successful event in January, with 112 venues slashing prices in the second week of August.

The event, organised by NE1, encourages Geordies to dine out, discover new restaurants and boost the local hospitality businesses.

With so many options across the city, there's guaranteed to be something for everyone whether you be an Italian lover, a fiend for a Chinese, craving a spicy Indian or simply wanting some satisfying pub grub.

This summer's event is the 21st time Newcastle Restaurant Week has run and if for some reason you're still to make the most of the deals, NewcastleWorld is on hand with all you need to know.

When is Newcastle Restaurant Week this August?

Newcastle Restaurant Week is fast upon us!

It lasts for seven days between Monday, August 8 and Sunday, August 14.

The event will then most likely return in early 2023.

Which restaurants are offering discounts for Newcastle Restaurant Week?

It would be easier to ask which restaurants are not taking part in the event.

Newcastle Restaurant Week can provide a huge boost in business for restaurants, with the potential to gain a hoard of new fans.

What deals are on offer for Newcastle Restaurant Week?

Every restaurant will be offering a different experience but, in general, businesses offer set menus for either £10, £15 or £20.

Many of those are two or three-course menus, but at some locations, you can get a drink, side and even a game of bowling included.

How do I get one of the deals?

You simply head along to your restaurant of choice.

There's no need to sign up, present a voucher or a barcode.
