Vicky Pattison and fiancé Ercan Ramadan lock heads over wedding location

Vicky Pattison revealed on her podcast ‘The Secret To…’ that she and fiancé Ercan Ramadan locked heads over where they should celebrate the big day. The couple have been together for over four and a half years and are currently planning an extravagant wedding ceremony.

Vicky celebrated her final podcast of the season by inviting Ercan on to be her guest. The chat soon turned to their upcoming wedding and Vicky was keen to highlight it hasn’t all been rosy. Vicky said: “It is still in really early stages and we are all just a bit shell shocked at how much everything costs”. Vicky went on to add: “I think we are kind of on the same page now because for a while we were sort of locking heads. Ercan wanted to get married in Cyprus and I wanted to get married in Italy”.

Ercan jumped in replying: “I wanted to do it in Cyprus because of my history” which left Vicky in fits of giggles and pointing out that: “London has history too”. The pair agreed on one thing which was that they didn’t realise how expensive hosting a wedding abroad would be. The couple stressed that they want the wedding to be a five day affair starting with a welcome dinner so that everyone gets to know each other before the actual ceremony. Vicky said: “I just want everyone who doesn’t know each other to meet each other and then feel really comfortable at the wedding”.

On the second day they want everyone to “chill and explore the local area”. Ercan was keen to have a “boys day out” and Vicky was happy to hang with her female friends and family. Both Ercan and Vicky were keen to stress that there would be “nothing wild”. There will be no chance of any shenanigans as Vicky admitted that their wedding planner, Susanna Richardson from Everything Organised, will be “policing both parties to make sure nothing gets out of hand”.

Then of course there will be the big wedding with lots of friends, family and fabulous food. Vicky was adamant that Ercan should cry when he sees her walking down the aisle saying: “If you don’t cry when I walk down the aisle I am going to marry someone else”. Ercan admitted he is not really one for tears but Vicky firmly stated: “Babe, I am going to look really good. I just want you to feel something rather than having to plug yourself in at night”. Ercan compared himself to Chandler from friends who is famed for not showing emotion but Vicky was quick to chastise him adding that Chandler is “broken”.

Despite their banter the pair seem very excited about their upcoming nuptials and Vicky has been sharing wedding updates with her 5.3 million followers on a daily basis. She has shared an inspirational mood board, hinted at the dress she will be wearing on the big day and has even asked Lewis Capaldi to sing at the wedding.
