Vicky Pattison has revealed she’s “proud” of her achievements over the past 10 years.The former Geordie Shore star, 35, from Newcastle, took to Instagram admitting that she “felt lost” 10 years ago while also encouraging her over 5 million followers to be grateful for every aspect of their lives. . She shared an inspirational quote which read:“Hey girl, there is a past version of you that is so proud of how far you’ve come”.
Captioning the post, Vicky said: “We often get so caught up in what everyone else is doing - how happy they seem to be, the things they’re achieving, the jobs they’re getting, the big moments they proudly show off on social media... we forget how lucky we are ♥️”
“It’s important every so often to just take a moment to be proud of YOU! To be pleased for YOU! To think back to that time that you used to pray for the things you have now! Because you did that! You may not think you did- but you got up, showed up and made a better life for yourself and that s**t is difficult so don’t forget to be proud of YOU”
Vicky has made no secret of the fact that she’s not proud of some of her past antics on Geordie Shore. She continued: “I look at the girl I was 10 years ago and I was unhappy in every conceivable way- I felt lost, trapped in toxic relationships, poor mental health and physical health, acting like I was grown and in control of my career but I was really just a puppet slowly pushing away everyone who really cared about me.. 😞”
Vicky, who began considering finding religion after taking part in BBC’s Pilgrimage, has dramatically changed her life in recent years. The former Geordie Shore star is set to marry fiancé, Ercan Ramadan, in 2024 and has been sharing her egg-freezing experience with her 5.3 million followers. She admitted that she’s “still growing” while gushing that the old Vicky would be proud of who she’s becoming.
She continued: “I have a good man by my side who I’m about to MARRY!! (Errrmyyygaaadddd!), my dream doggos, a little frozen family waiting for us in the freezer, brilliant friends, a gorgeous family, a job I adore with people who want the best for me looking after me and everyday I try and put my best foot forward and do what I can for others.. That girl from 10 years ago wouldn’t believe it 🤩”
