Wilson and Antonio often poke fun at one another and their seasons, but on this week's episode the Newcastle man wasn't falling for his fellow player's chat.

Antonio opened the episode by praising the run of form that Eddie Howe's side has been on but said it might not be a good thing.

The Hammers man warned: "Newcastle fans aren't going to like what I'm going to say right now.

"I'm trying to help your gaffa out, your daddy out.

"Him doing so well could kill him for next season.

"The fact that he's come in and won so many games.... people expect stuff straight away.

"People are going to expect things from next season. If he keeps on going and finishes the season strong, winning all these games, a few signings come in, next season what are these fans going to want?

"What are these owners going to think? I'm just throwing it out there."

Wilson, who hasn't been involved in any of Newcastle's fixtures in 2022 due to a calf injury, wasn't up for joking on the matter.

The talisman remained calm and collected as he responded to Antonio.

Wilson said: "I get what you're saying.

"The manager isn't going to want to come in, get us safe and not win any more games to avoid pressure.

"His work ethic is second to none. We were on four or five points when he took over the club and he's seen the bigger picture further down the line.

"We need to all keep our feet on the ground.

"The pressure is going to be there from the start, but it's a building process.

"Next year will be about trying to sustain that level and solidify ourselves as a top 10 team.

"We aren't getting carried away as players and as a club to say we'll be challenging in Europe."
