Newcastle United’s next summer signing has been spotted at St James’ Park.

Incoming Newcastle United summer signing Bazoumana Toure has been spotted at St James’ Park ahead of his move from Hoffenheim.

The 20-year-old winger is set to join Newcastle in a deal worth around £42million. It comes after Newcastle sold Anthony Gordon to Barcelona for £70million and agreed a £100million sale of Sandro Tonali to Tottenham Hotspur.

Toure’s move is closely linked to both deals with the Ivory Coast winger brought in to replace Gordon on the left wing. Tonali’s exit will help Newcastle fund several signings in multiple positions, starting with Toure.

And on Friday, the winger was at St James’ Park to finalise his move to Newcastle. But, as ever, whenever a player is at St James’ Park, the watching eyes of supporters - or rather their phone cameras - were quick at hand to capture it.

X account, @TalkOnTheToonNU, posted a short video of Toure in the stands at St James’ Park.

The video was posted prior to any official announcement from the football club, but goes some way to suggesting the deal is imminent.

After being knocked out of the World Cup by Norway earlier this week, the Ivory Coast winger was quickly whisked away to Newcastle to complete his medical and formalise a move.

Newcastle made a move to sign the winger after missing out on Victor Munoz, who joined Liverpool instead. Toure enjoyed a breakthrough campaign in the Bundesliga last season with five goals and 15 assists in all competitions, helping Hoffenheim secure Europa League football in the process.
