Kendrick Lamar has announced a huge world tour in celebration of his newest album Mr Morale and The Big Steppers.

The album is Lamar’s first studio album since Damn in 2017, after which he released the Black Panther soundtrack in 2018.

The tour will see Lamar play eight shows throughout the UK, including a performance at the Utilita Arena in Newcastle.

When is Kendrick Lamar playing Newcastle?

Kendrick Lamar is scheduled to play the Newcastle Utilita Arena on Friday 4 November 2022.

When are the ticket presale events?

For Newcastle fans there are two presale events available for the show.

O2 customers will have exclusive access to the O2 Priority presale which is set to open on Thursday 19 May at 10am, and last until Friday 20 May at 9am.

LiveNation will also be running a presale event.

When do tickets go on sale?

General sale for tickets is set to start on Friday 20 May at 10am. Tickets can be purchased at Ticketmaster.

Who is the support act for Kendrick Lamar?

Baby Keem and Tanna Leone will be the opening acts for Kendrick Lamar’s UK leg of his tour.

Baby Keem is a frequent collaborator, and cousin, of Kendrick Lamar, their most recent song being Family Ties, which was released in 2021.

Tanna Leone released his debut album The Melodic Blue in September 2021 and is also featured on Kendrick Lamar’s latest album Mr Morale and The Big Stepper.

Kendrick Lamar is an American rapper, songwriter, and record producer who has been cited as one of the most influential rappers of his generation.

Lamar has shot to meteoric levels of fame since beginning his career as a teenager. He released his debut album in Section.80 in 2011. Since then, he has sold over 70 millions records in the US alone.

In his career, Lamar has released five studio albums, one compilation album, one extended play, and five mixtapes. As well as producing, writing and performing on the Black Panther soundtrack album.

His releases have spawned 65 singles, three promotional singles and 55 music videos.

All of his studio albums have been certified platinum or higher by the Recording Industry ASsociation of America.

As well as this, the rapper has received several awards commemorating his success, including 14 Grammy Awards.

In 2016 the rapper was named by Time magazine as one of the 100 most influential people in the world, and Rolling Stone included three of his studio albums in their 2020 list of the 500 Greatest Albums of All Time.
